Darkroom Project - Part 3
This week it starts looking like a useable space! Carpenter has been in and fitted skirting boards and worktops. The long run of benching under the window and along the wall will be for the computers, scanners and printers. The benching in the corner by the door is waist height and will be where I run the processor and wet side. The electrical outlets are high up out of the way of water!The electrician has done all the wiring, fitted the trunking for the electrical outlets along with two double LED fluorescent overhead lights with daylight tubes. Installed the Vent-Axia Solo Plus Centrifugal Extractor fan and a nice Norwegian Beha convector heater to keep things snug in the winter.
So now I have the guts of the work done. Carpet coming this week and then I need to start decorating but, with my daughter coming down to visit, it maybe a couple of weeks before I get to that.
